On 24 October 2019, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) received recognition from the Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC) for successfully establishing a Quality Management System Certified to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015.

MWSS RO Chief Regulator Atty. Patrick Lester N. Ty received the award on behalf of the agency during the 7th GQMC Recognition Ceremony and Public Sector Quality and Productivity Improvement Forum, held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

The event aimed to recognize ISO 9001:2015 certified government organizations that have demonstrated consistent and notable improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
