The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) led by Administrator Gerardo A.I.Esquivel, recently presented to investors the three major water infrastructure projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program in a forum dubbed as “Invest Water PH: A Water Infrastructure Projects Forum Towards Water Security” held in Pasig City.
The PPP projects collectively worth $1.1 billion include the $542.22 million Bulacan Bulk Water Supply Projects and the $416.09 million New Centennial Water Source-Kaliwa Dam Project, and the $133.996 million Angat Water Transmission Improvement Project.
The first two projects are under the government flagship PPP program, while the last one will be funded by an official development assistance loan from Asian development Bank.
