On 01 March 2022, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) held the kick-off ceremony for the various activities lined up for its 2022 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC).
The employees expressed their support for this year’s NWMC by posting on the MWSS RO Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE) Pledge Board their commitments that can translate to concrete actions geared towards building a community that is continuously promoting GEWE, and ensuring a gender-responsive workplace for all.
The MWSS RO, through the initiative of its Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, also conducted a “Learning Discussion on Beijing Declaration And Platform Action,” and a 2-day “Gender Sensitivity Training.”

The MWSS RO activities lined up for the 2022 NWMC aim to inspire and encourage internal and external stakeholders, especially women, to be agents of change and to contribute in promoting and achieving gender equality and women empowerment.
