From 03 to 05 June 2020, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) conducted a full Internal Quality Audit (IQA) of its established Quality Management System (QMS) that covered the core process: Service Obligation Monitoring of Water Supply and Wastewater Effluent Quality, and its support processes.

The IQA results revealed that the agency has maintained the confirmity of its QMS to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) global standards, in its provision of regulatory services for monitoring Manila Water and Maynilad’s service obligations based on the Concession Agreements.

MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on 31 December 2018 and has upheld its commitment to continually enhance its established QMS and delivery of services to the public.
