On 27 May 2022, MWSS Regulatory Office Deputy Administrator (DA) for Administration and Legal Affairs Atty. Claudine B. Orocio-Isorena imparted her knowledge at the synchronous Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program of the University of the Philippines College of Law.

In her discussion of the topic, “Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): Mediation and Arbitration”, DA Orocio-Isorena emphasized the importance of studying ADR, especially for lawyers specializing in litigation who can serve as instruments of change in the Philippine judicial system.

DA Orocio-Isorena is a trained arbitrator, commercial mediator, and accredited sports mediator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.; a member of the first set of panel of arbitrators of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution; and an accredited practitioner of ADR in the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Department of Justice.
