The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) joins the celebration of the 23rd Consumer Welfare Month this October.

This year’s theme is “Sustainable Consumer in the New Normal,” which promotes the recovery of various economic sectors and consumer sustainability in the formation of new norms.

The MWSS RO encourages all consumers to exercise their rights by becoming well-informed and involved in public dialogues and activities concerning developments and good practices on water, sewerage and sanitation.

The agency, in its mission to protect the interests of the consuming public and other stakeholders to continuous and sustainable supply of potable water; will continue to implement innovative strategies in information dissemination and engage consumers in policy development especially during this pandemic, when water is most essential in curbing its spread.
