The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) joins the Department of Health (DOH), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the World Health Organization (WHO) in the observance of World Toilet Day 2020 with the theme, “Toilets for every Juan: BIDA ang pamilyang gumagamit ng kubeta!”

This year’s celebration aims to recognize and learn from the achievements of local governments in meeting the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030; gather the support of key stakeholders and sanitation champions to invest in sanitation programs at both national and local levels; and raise public awareness on the sanitation targets of each region.

In support of these objectives; the MWSS RO, MWSS Corporate Office (CO), Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI), and Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWCI) are continuously working towards creating healthier communities by expanding the sewerage and sanitation coverage within the Concession Area and ensuring that all customers are getting access to these essential services.
