MWSS Regulatory Office Chief Regulator Atty. Patrick Lester N. Ty and Deputy Administrator for Administration and Legal Affairs Atty. Claudine B. Orocio-Isorena, who is also the Office’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee Chairperson, led the MWSS RO family in distributing care packages that include food and toiletries during the fifth day of the Community Pantry Project at the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) Complex.

The MWSS RO, Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC), National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), Water and Sewerage Sector Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (WASSSLAI), and Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) spearheaded and organized this final day of the project, which covered more than 1,000 beneficiaries – mostly residents from Barangay Matandang Balara and nearby barangays.

The MWSS RO also took the opportunity to distribute informational materials to promote water conservation and women’s rights.

Proper safety and health protocols were observed during the activity.
