The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) maintained its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification on its established Quality Management System (QMS), as it passed its first surveillance audit that covered the core process: Service Obligation Monitoring – Water Supply and Wastewater Effluent Quality, and its support processes.
The audit was conducted on 07 October 2019 by renowned international certification body, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. The audit results affirmed the agency’s compliance with ISO global standards in its delivery of regulatory services for monitoring Manila Water and Maynilad’s service obligations based on the Concession Agreements.
MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on 31 December 2018.
