The water we use after doing the laundry, washing the dishes, and showering – or “gray water,” can still be reused properly

.Under House Bill No. 8611 or “The Gray Water Treatment and Reuse Act of 2021,” buildings will be properly equipped with treatment facilities or systems that will efficiently maximize the use of gray water.

Currently filed at the House of Representatives of the Philippines Committee on Ecology, this bill aims to conserve our water resources.

The MWSS Regulatory Office lauds this initiative of Palawan 2nd District Rep. Cyrille “Beng” F. Abueg-Zaldivar (Congw. Atty. Beng Abueg-Zaldivar). The agency pledges full support for the said bill, in accordance with its efforts to ensure the sustainability of our limited water supply.
