To strengthen the End Violence Against Women (VAW) advocacy of the Government, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Gender and Development (GAD) Committee conducted a series of webinars and workshops that aimed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills to create a gender-responsive and VAW-free community.

The GAD Committee organized inspirational talks on women empowerment and gender equality; webinars on the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression (SOGIE) Bill, Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, Safe Spaces Act, Gender-based Medicine, and Gender Sensitivity; virtual storytelling of “Ang Lihim ni Lea;” film showing of “Kalel, 15;” and training on self-defense (Muay Thai).
