On 24 May 2024, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) took part in another Lingap Eskwela activity organized by Manila Water Foundation (MWF), the social development arm of Manila Water. MWF donated Refrigerated Drinking Fountains (RDFs) to 12 public schools in the City of Taguig, in partnership with the local government unit. In addition to the drinking fountains, students also received drinking kits.

The Lingap Eskwela program focuses on building Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities in schools, aligning with the WASH in Schools (WinS) Program of the DepEd Philippines and the Healthy Pilipinas campaign of the Department of Health (Philippines) . The MWSS RO, represented by Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty, is one of the implementing partners of this initiative.

In his remarks, Chief Regulator Ty emphasized the timeliness of the program in promoting hydration, which is essential for the health and safety of school teachers and children, especially during the dry season. He also encouraged the academic community to actively participate in safeguarding our water resources through water conservation.
