From 10 to 12 July 2024, the MWSS Regulatory Office conducted a full Internal Quality Audit (IQA) of its established Quality Management System (QMS) on the core process, “Provision of Regulatory Services on Service Obligations Monitoring for Water Supply and Wastewater Effluent Quality based on the Concession Agreement,” as well as the “Annual Inflation Adjustment of CPI-based Items Process,” “Customer Complaint Management Process,” and various support processes.
The objectives of the audit were to determine: 1) the conformity of these processes to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the established QMS of the MWSS RO, and 2) the readiness of the MWSS RO for re-certification.
The MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on December 31, 2018, by the renowned international certification body TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc.
