On 20 September 2024, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) turned over three (3) Refrigerated Drinking Fountains (RDF) to the City of San Juan as part of the Office’s 27th Anniversary Celebration. The RDFs, which will be installed in San Juan City Hall, San Juan National High School, and San Juan City Medical Center, were donated in partnership with Xavier School Batch 1995, University of the Philippines (UP) Upsilon Sigma Phi Batch 1999 and UP Sigma Delta Phi Batch 1999, and Manila Water Foundation.
In his message, MWSS RO Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty emphasized the importance of doing better and doing more to protect the interests of the consuming public and other stakeholders. As such, the Office takes pride in going beyond its mandate through projects such as this one, which aim to enhance the quality of life for its stakeholders. He also highlighted that the provision of RDFs is timely, as it promotes both environmental protection and hydration for communities.
On its 27th year, the MWSS RO remains steadfast in its mandate and will continue to go above and beyond standards in providing the best quality of services for the consuming public.
