MWSS Regulatory Office Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty shared his expertise on water supply management with third-year Business Administration students from San Beda University on 12 November 2024.
During the interview, Chief Regulator Ty guided the students on how the MWSS RO protects the interests of the consuming public and other stakeholders. He explained how the office monitors the Concessionaires’ compliance with their contractual obligations to ensure a continuous, sustainable, and accessible supply of safe and affordable drinking water, as well as an environmentally safe sewerage system.
These insights aim to assist the students in fulfilling their Marketing Research class requirement, which involves proposing solutions and crafting policies to address climate forces threatening Metro Manila’s water supply.
