On 02 December 2024, the MWSS Regulatory Office turned over five (5) Refrigerated Drinking Fountains (RDF) to the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños as part of its 27th Anniversary celebration.
This initiative, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Los Baños , Upsilon Sigma Phi Batch 1999, UP Sigma Delta Phi Batch 1999, UPAA – University of the Philippines Alumni Association, and Vitarich Corporation, aims to promote proper hydration and support the health and well-being of the academic community.
In his message of support, MWSS RO Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty emphasized the Office’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its stakeholders through initiatives that extend beyond its core mandate. The RDFs not only provide access to clean drinking water for the learning institution but also help protect the environment by reducing single-use plastic waste.
As it celebrates 27 years of service, the MWSS RO remains committed to breaking barriers, transforming behaviors, and promoting equitable access to water.
