On 19 June 2025, officials of the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO), led by Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Sec. Raphael P.M. Lotilla.
Chief Regulator Ty was joined by Deputy Administrator for Technical Regulation (TRA-DA) Evelyn B. Agustin, Deputy Administrator for Customer Service Regulation (CSRA-DA) Lee Robert M. Britanico, and Head Technical Assistant Marie Antoinette D. Manuel. They were warmly welcomed by Secretary Lotilla and DENR Undersecretary for Integrated Environmental Science Carlos Primo C. David, who also serves as the Head of the Water Resources Management Office.
During the meeting, the MWSS RO executives provided updates on the Office’s ongoing and upcoming programs, activities, and projects.
The MWSS RO reaffirms its commitment to strong inter-agency collaboration, in line with Executive Order (EO) No. 22, s. 2023, which established the Water Resources Management Office under the DENR and designated the MWSS RO as an attached agency. The Office also expressed its continued support to the DENR in advancing water, sewerage, and sanitation services within the Concession Areas.
