Kicking off the 2021 National Women’s Month festivities this March, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Gender and Development (GAD) Committee announced the lineup of activities to all employees during the Virtual Flag Ceremony.

For the first week of the celebration, the MWSS RO conducted Orientation on Gender Fair Language Guidelines, Seminar on Masculinities, Gender Sensitivity Training, and film showing. Employees also watched and participated in the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Online Webinar Series: “Juana Nangunguna laban sa Pandemya.”

Spearheaded by the PCW, the 2021 National Women’s Month Celebration serves as a tribute, a platform, and a call to action that highlight the extraordinary roles of ordinary Juanas in the society as trailblazers and harbingers of change.
