The MWSS Regulatory Office invites everyone to celebrate International Women’s Day with a collective recognition of the vital role we play in advancing women empowerment and gender equality within our society, particularly in addressing gender gaps in the water sector. 
The MWSS RO, in partnership with the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies, proudly presents insights from its recently concluded Sex-Disaggregated Water Data (SDWD) Project. This initiative has produced baseline water statistics gathered from respondents across the Concession Areas, establishing a knowledge base that can pave the way for more gender-responsive water and wastewater services.
