On 24 October 2021, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) celebrated “Family Thanksgiving Day” pursuant to Proclamation No. 847. This initiative—spearheaded by the agency’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, aims to highlight the importance of strengthening and promoting unity, solidarity, and stability of the Filipino family.
The MWSS RO engaged in this worthwhile celebration to also raise awareness on gender-related issues within the family such as promotion of gender equality and sensitivity.
In the comfort of their homes, MWSS RO officials and employees—together with their families, actively participated in a series of online webinars about family and responsible parenthood, as well as in various games and contests.
