From 16-19 March 2025, MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty participated in the 14th International Water Association (IWA) International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse 2025 held in Cape Town, South Africa.
At a plenary session held on 18 March, Chief Regulator Ty shared the MWSS RO’s experience in implementing Direct Potable Reuse (DPR) in its Concession Area, particularly the challenges faced and solutions that were carried out in the process. Additionally, he discussed the future of water reuse in Metro Manila, and emphasized its importance in ensuring a sustainable future.
The MWSS RO supports groundbreaking solutions to augmenting our limited supply of clean water within the Concession Area.
