On 23 June 2022, MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty served as keynote speaker at the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers, Inc. (PSSE) 2022 Midyear National Convention with the theme, “Security in Times of Uncertainty.” The online event was attended by engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, and students from the fields of environmental and sanitary engineering across the country.
In his speech, Chief Regulator Ty emphasized the importance of prudent, efficient, and sustainable water, sewerage, and sanitation programs that protect not only the health and welfare of the customers, but also of the environment.
The MWSS RO commends the PSSE for taking the lead in water security, innovative wastewater and sanitation programs, public health, plumbing, solid waste and environmental management, and engineering education; and for its key role in bringing together professionals in this industry to engage in knowledge sharing activities, in order to promote best practices and provide the highest quality of services that our stakeholders deserve.
