On 11, 12, and 15 November 2021, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) held the Gender and Development (GAD) Planning and Budgeting Sessions. This was attended by the agency’s GAD Executive Committee, Technical Working Group, Project Implementers, Secretariat, and Support and Finance Group.
This activity is pursuant to the Philippine Commission on Women Memorandum Circular No. 2021 – 04 or “”Preparation and Online Submission of Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets.”
The MWSS RO adheres to Republic Act No. 9710 or the “Magna Carta of Women” (MCW) – adopting gender mainstreaming strategies to promote women’s human rights, and eliminate gender discrimination in the agency’s systems, policies, programs, processes, and procedures.
