In preparation for its ISO (International Organization for Standardization) recertification audit scheduled this year, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) conducted a remote and onsite Internal Quality Audit (IQA) of its established Quality Management System (QMS) on the core process “Provision of Regulatory Services on Service Obligations Monitoring for Water Supply, and Wastewater Effluent Quality based on the Concession Agreement” and its support processes, from 26 to 29 July 2021.
The results of the IQA revealed that the processes of the MWSS RO conform with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and the established QMS of the agency.
The MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on 31 December 2018 by renowned international certification body, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc.
