The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) expresses its deepest gratitude to Local Government Unit (LGU) leaders, stakeholders, and media partners who actively engaged in the three (3) sessions of the MWSS RO Virtual Public Consultation on the Possible Tariff Impact of the East Bay Water Supply Project and AMA Bulk Water Supply Project. The public consultation series for the East Zone Concession served as an avenue for the MWSS RO, and for project proponents Manila Water Company Inc. (MWCI) and AMA Water Corporation (AWC), to explain and clarify the plans for the proposed alternative water source projects; discuss the possible effects of these projects on customers’ water rates; directly address the concerns and issues of affected customers; and keep stakeholders informed and involved in the evaluation of the feasibility of these projects. The MWSS RO hopes for the continued support and engagement of its stakeholders as it works towards ensuring a clean, affordable, and sustainable water flow for tomorrow.Manila Water
