On 07 April 2025, MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Deputy Administrator (DA) for Administration and Legal Affairs (ALA), Claudine B. Orocio-Isorena shared her expertise on regulatory governance—particularly on public-private partnerships in utility services—with Political Science students from the Adamson University.
The interview aimed to support the students in their research on how regulatory frameworks are applied in public-private partnerships to ensure the effective and responsible delivery of essential utility services, including water and wastewater services.
Aside from being one of MWSS RO’s Regulators, DA Orocio-Isorena is also a long-time Gender and Development advocate, serving as Chairperson of the MWSS RO Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) since 2017. She has been instrumental in advancing the collection and utilization of sex-disaggregated data within the Office.
The MWSS RO remains committed to supporting academic research and welcomes students who are interested in learning more about the Office’s mandate and advocacies.
