On 30 April 2024, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) participated in the inauguration of another batch of refrigerated drinking fountains, as part of Manila Water Foundation’s (MWF) Lingap Eskwela initiative. MWF donated Refrigerated Drinking Fountains (RDFs) to 24 public schools in the City of Mandaluyong, in partnership with the local government unit. Aside from the drinking fountains, students were also provided with drinking kits.

Lingap Eskwela is an initiative focusing on developing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities in schools.

In his remarks, Chief Regulator Ty lauded Manila Water’s continued efforts to promote the health and safety of its customers, exceeding the quality of service expected of them. He also reminded the students, teachers, and other stakeholders present during the event on their important role in practicing proper hydration and water conservation, especially during the dry season.
