On 17 February 2025, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) donated a Refrigerated Drinking Fountain (RDF) and drinking kits to Libis Elementary School. The Office also provided students, teachers, and school staff with informational materials on water conservation, proper wastewater management, and maintaining water quality.
This initiative is part of the MWSS RO’s 27th-anniversary celebration, highlighting its commitment to public service. It was made possible through the generosity of the VVS Cold Storage and Processing Plant Corporation and the support of Manila Water Foundation and the University of the Philippines Upsilon Sigma Phi and Sigma Delta Phi Batch 1999.
In his partnership message, MWSS RO Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty emphasized the Office’s dedication to improving the quality of life for its stakeholders through projects that go beyond its core mandate. The donated RDF and drinking kits will not only provide clean drinking water for the learning institution, but will also help protect the environment by reducing single-use plastic waste.
As the MWSS RO marks 27 years of service, it remains committed to going above and beyond its mandate in delivering top-quality services to the public.
