On 07 July 2025, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) joined Manila Water Foundation (MWF) in the turnover ceremony of Refrigerated Drinking Fountains (RDFs) donated to the local government units (LGUs) of Angono, Antipolo City, Jalajala, and Morong in the province of Rizal. This initiative is part of MWF’s “Lingap” program, which reinforces water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities in public institutions and spaces.

A total of twenty-six (26) RDFs will be installed in public schools and hospitals across the city and municipalities. Drinking kits were also distributed to promote proper hydration and environmental protection.

In his message of support, MWSS RO Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty commended Manila Water and MWF for their unwavering commitment to public health. He also encouraged attendees to conserve water through small yet impactful means.
