This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard. 

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. Notice of Ineligibility re: Procurement of MWSS’ External Legal Counsel

The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS RO) was created in August 1997 by virtue of the Concession Agreements signed between the MWSS and the two Concessionaires: Manila Water Company, Inc. (Manila Water) for the East Zone and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) for the West Zone.

The MWSS RO is mandated to monitor the performance of the Concessionaires with respect to their contractual obligations under the RCAs. Among its many functions, the MWSS RO reviews, monitors and enforces rates and service standards; arranges and reports regular independent audits of the performance of the Concessionaires; and monitors the infrastructure assets.
