The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) congratulates Maynilad Water Services, Inc. for winning the “SDG6 Champion of the Year” at the 2025 Global Water Awards. The awarding ceremony was held during the Global Water Summit on 13 May 2025 in Paris, France.

Maynilad’s “Makialam, Makiisa, Magmalasakit” (3M) Campaign was recognized for supporting the achievement of key operational targets in 2024 related to non-revenue water (NRW) reduction, service expansion, and sustainability objectives, thereby enhancing the company’s capacity to deliver improved services to consumers.

Established in 2006 by Global Water Intelligence (GWI), the Global Water Awards honor the most significant achievements in the international water industry within several categories, and reward those initiatives in the water, wastewater and desalination sectors that are moving the industry forward through improved operational performance, innovative technology adoption, and sustainable financial models.
