The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) maintained its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification on its established Quality Management System (QMS), as it passed its recertification audit that covered the core process: Provision of Regulatory Services on Service Obligations Monitoring for Water Supply and Wastewater Effluent Quality based on the Concession Agreement.
The recertification audit was conducted on the 20th of October 2021 by renowned international certification body, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. The audit results affirmed the agency’s compliance with ISO global standards in its delivery of regulatory services for monitoring Manila Water and Maynilad’s service obligations based on the Concession Agreements.
The MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on 31 December 2018.
