Q: What forms of assistance will be provided for customers during ECQ?

A: The MWSS RO assures Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWCI) and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI) customers that there will be no water service disconnections for the duration of the ECQ period.

The read and bill operations of both concessionaires will resume in June.

For non-lifeline accounts, service disconnections will resume on August 1 for unpaid ECQ water bills.

For lifeline accounts, service disconnections will resume on September 1 for unpaid ECQ water bills.

The MWSS RO encourages customers to contact their service provider and settle their ECQ water bills before the disconnection period to ensure continuity of services.
