In an interview with the Global Water Intelligence (GWI) Magazine on 12 October 2021, MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) Chief Regulator Atty. Patrick Lester N. Ty highlighted the priority infrastructure projects on water, sewerage, and sanitation of concessionaires, Manila Water and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. .
Apart from providing insights on the Philippine Water Supply and Sanitation Master Plan (PWSSMP), Chief Ty discussed how the MWSS RO directed the two concessionaires to catch-up on their capital expenditure roll-out, and how both the public and private sectors can ensure universal access to water supply and sanitation.
