The MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) joins the observance of this year’s 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW).

From 25 November to 12 December, the Office will hold activities that will promote awareness of the various forms of violence women and girls experience and the laws that protect them such as Republic Act No. 9262 or “Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act,” Republic Act No. 11313 or “Safe Spaces Act” (Bawal Bastos Law), and Republic Act 9208 or the “Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.”

During the kick-off ceremony, the MWSS RO through its Gender and Development Committee, presented its line up of 2022 End VAW Campaign activities that will benefit its employees, stakeholders, and the general public.

The MWSS RO supports the Government’s call to strengthen the anti-VAW advocacy, eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls, and foster a community that has zero tolerance for VAW.

Let us all work together to become UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines.
