On 10 October 2022, the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO) once again maintained its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification on its established Quality Management System (QMS), as it passed the surveillance audit that covered the core process: “Provision of Regulatory Services on Service Obligations Monitoring for Water Supply and Wastewater Effluent Quality based on the Concession Agreement.” The audit was conducted by renowned international certification body, TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc..

The audit results affirmed the MWSS RO’s compliance with ISO global standards in its delivery of regulatory services for monitoring Manila Water and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. service obligations based on the Concession Agreements. Moreover, positive observations on the construction of the MWSS RO Building and the recognitions received by the Office during the 2021 Freedom of Information Awards were cited.

The MWSS RO became ISO 9001:2015 certified on 31 December 2018.
