The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS-RO) stood firm in promoting consumer welfare following the 4th Public Dialogue on Bulk and Clustered Meter on 13 November 2014 at One Arena Cainta Gym in San Juan, Cainta Rizal.
MWSS-RO Deputy Administrator for Customer Service Regulation (CSR) Area, Atty. Vincent Pepito Yambao, Jr. said that consumer welfare and protection will continue to be the top priority for agency.
“We place high importance on consumer welfare to address escalating problems or any confusion encountered by the customers involving bulk and clustered meters by providing them accurate, timely and indispensable information,” Yambao said.
The MWSS-RO fundamentally believes that acting responsibly and listening to the customers’ pressing concerns related to water and sewerage services keep its torch of commitment burning.
“We believe that holding public dialogue is right thing to do. We listen to our customers, look intently on the roots of the problems, and we are taking the necessary actions to uphold the welfare of the Filipino consumers,” Yambao added.
Invited as resource persons in the public dialogue were representatives from Laguna Lake Development Authority led by Leonor Poserio, Officer-in-Charge, Project Development and Monitoring Evaluation Division, Cooperative Development Authority Deputy Executive Director Giovanni Platero, Atty.
